Secondary Transition Tasks
We would normally spend time during our Apollo Induction Days in July, giving you a taster of all the interesting and exciting subjects you will be studying at your new secondary school. Unfortunately our ‘normal’ induction hasn’t been able to take place. But, hopefully, you will have read, watched and enjoyed the information found on our school websites.
We will make sure, that when we return to school after the summer break, we will have plenty of time to give you a special induction. It will be an exciting time where you can meet the rest of your tutor group, and have time to get to know your new tutor. You will be able to spend time with your tutor: going over your new timetable, completing induction activities, learning about the school and becoming familiar with the routines of the school day and week.
In the meantime, we have prepared a number of activities which reflect the learning and the subjects you will study in Year 7.
These tasks are not compulsory, but are there for you to try if you would like to.
We hope you have a fantastic summer and we can’t wait to see you after the summer break!
